A game first
The game already works and comes first. Token features are meant to be built on top of a working game, not the other way around.

Whitepaper · v1.0 — Draft, a living document
A browser-based 2D MMORPG you log into with a Solana wallet, and our plans for its in-game token, $AVEL.
This document describes plans and intentions, not guarantees. Anything not yet built may change as development continues. Nothing here is financial advice — see the disclaimer.
Arveilon is a real-time 2D MMORPG that runs entirely in the browser — no downloads or installers. Instead of a username and password, players sign in by connecting a Solana wallet.
$AVEL is a planned utility token intended to be used as the game's in-game currency and to support community governance. This paper outlines what the game is today and how we plan to use the token. These are plans and may change.
We want to build Arveilon as a long-term project rather than a quick launch. The points below describe the direction we're aiming for — they are goals, not promises.
The game already works and comes first. Token features are meant to be built on top of a working game, not the other way around.
We plan for your wallet to be your character, with items and progress tied to it. The exact scope is still being worked out.
We aim to design the token economy with real in-game uses, so it isn't driven only by new emissions. This is a goal, not a guarantee.
Over time we'd like to give the community a say in decisions such as events and balance. How and when is still to be decided.
Arveilon is a fantasy world of old kingdoms, ruins, deserts, and unexplored regions. The current map already has towns, dungeons, and wilderness to explore.
As development continues, we plan to expand the map and add new areas, quests, bosses, and events. New content is added over time, and existing content stays in the world.
Arveilon is a working MMORPG today. The features below are already in the game.
Three combat schools — melee, archery, and magic — with an attack-style system and plugin-driven bosses that each fight differently.
Gather (mining, fishing, lumberjacking, foraging), produce (smithing, crafting, cooking, fletching, alchemy), and fight — a deep skilling spine.
A growing chain of quests and hidden achievements, from the tutorial shores to the Ancient Lands — each one a thread back into the Veil.
Full equipment slots, an enchantment system, a deep material & crafting tree, player shops, and bank storage.
Player trading, cross-server guilds with their own chat, friends lists, pets, and live leaderboards.
Team-vs-team war, coursing hunts, and instanced arenas, with more events planned.
$AVEL is planned as the game's token — a Solana SPL token. We chose Solana for its low fees and fast transactions, which suit a game economy with many small, frequent transactions. The token has not launched yet.
$AVEL is intended as a utility and governance token for the game. It is not a share, not a yield or investment product, and gives no claim on any profits.
These are the uses we plan for $AVEL. Most are not built yet, and details may change. Several are also intended as sinks — reasons to spend the token in-game.
Intended as a currency for player markets and trading, alongside the existing in-game gold.
Higher-tier crafting and enchanting may cost $AVEL, with a portion of it potentially burned.
We're considering letting players stake $AVEL for a share of in-game sinks and some bonuses. The mechanics are not finalized.
Cosmetic items (skins, pet variants, titles, emotes) are planned to be buyable with $AVEL. Cosmetic only — never pay-to-win.
We're exploring claimable regions that would require a stake to hold. This is still a concept and may not ship.
Guild treasuries and large-scale guild events may use pooled $AVEL.
A seasonal pass with challenges and cosmetic rewards is planned, unlockable with $AVEL.
Some optional, time-limited content may require $AVEL to enter.
$AVEL is planned to be used for community votes — see the Governance section.
Reserving a unique character name or minting an item as an on-chain deed may cost $AVEL. Planned, not yet built.
A principle we intend to follow — no pay-to-win. We plan for $AVEL to buy access, cosmetics, and convenience — not raw combat power that a free player can't also earn through play.
Our focus is the in-game economy: a fixed max supply, steady gameplay-driven rewards, and sinks that remove tokens from circulation over time. The notes below describe the intended economic approach — planned targets for a draft economy, not a promise of price or returns. Final parameters are not decided yet and may change.
We plan for some uses — such as enchanting, crafting, keys, and part of the seasonal pass — to burn a portion of the $AVEL spent, to balance supply.
We intend for play rewards to come from a fixed reserve on a gradual schedule, rather than unlimited new emissions.
We plan to monitor and adjust the balance between rewards and sinks, within set limits, as the game grows.
We plan ways for players to earn $AVEL through play. These are intended channels and may change:
We intend for free players to be able to play fully without spending. The wallet is just the login; spending is optional.
Arveilon uses a Solana wallet (Phantom) to log in instead of a username and password. You connect your wallet and sign a message to enter.
Below are types of content and events we plan to add over time. Names and details are not final and may change, be reordered, or not happen.
The game is playable now: wallet login, combat, 17 skills, quests, and guilds.
Introduce $AVEL, a cosmetics store, and the first token sinks.
Server-wide boss fights and limited-time events with rewards.
Seasonal events with themed quests and cosmetic rewards.
Guild wars and bigger team-vs-team events.
Additional areas, dungeons, and continents as the map grows.
These are plans, not commitments to a specific date or order.
Over time we plan to introduce community governance, where $AVEL holders can vote on certain decisions. The exact timing and mechanics are not finalized.

It is not an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy, or a recommendation regarding any token, and nothing herein is financial, legal, or tax advice. $AVEL is a utility and governance token intended for use within the Arveilon game; it is not an investment, a security, a share, or a claim on any profit.
